Dr. Wolfe,
I am in my first DIS course, so far so good. I stumbled upon your blog by accident really, but it gives me great hope. Initially I had a mentor with a very unusual and unrelated background to my degree and dissertation. But luckily he was switched out within a week or so and I got someone who I think is very good. I got through the last RSH and COMPS with him. Thanks for writing this, it helps!

You may or may not remember me, but I have been following your blog through my journey through NCU -- I posed a question to you maybe a year or so ago about the CP (I believe). I have progressed through the DIS courses and have make significant progress on the dissertation, but I have been struggling for the past 6 weeks to find a company to work with. I have exhausted nearly every professional and personal contact possibility that I have....I have searched Google for hours on end. I can't find any "advice" or "tips" on how to find a company....can you help?!?!?

Wow, congratulations! I've been following your blog since I started the PhD journey with NCU in the Fall of 2008. It must be such a relief to be finished. I can't wait to get there. I just started the first DIS course so I can't see the allusive light at the end of this dark tunnel yet. Do something fun to celebrate!

Hi guys. Thanks so much for blogging your experiences. I am also working on my Ed.D at NCU. Just trying to finish the RSH9101E class...and had no clue how to begin an abridged lit review. After reading your blog and all the comments...I don't feel so lost and alone on this struggle with the unknown. I keep telling myself...not long now..not long now! Can't wait to check back for other helpful posts.

That's a great analogy. How does one narrow the topic?
